EDIT: How time flies and how things change. This was my only DA sugestion, created 7 years ago and it was something so simple, and yet, never implemented. With the change over to Eclipse and the removal of categories, it's highly unlikely that it will ever be brought back, since DA decided to apply a dumbed down tag system like Instagram has. R.I.P. Categories....

Shorter version:
Why shouldn't there be an specific category for Architecture like on Photography / Architecture? Isn't Architecture a subject for Traditional Artists? Don't Architects draw the buildings they project? Why wasn't such an easy option implemented in the first place, when DeviantArt has it on other mediums?
On an effort to change this I decided to submit an example of how that option would look if implemented. Some simple screenshots of the Traditional and Photography Categories, a little Photoshoping and voilá! It's that easy, all the information is already there on Photography, DeviantArt just needs to copy and change some basic things!

This is a needed change for traditional artists that enjoy drawing architecture and, ultimately it could be applied to Paintings too!
Also, the two pictures used as examples are mine:
However these aren't good examples for the purpose of this suggestion, since they are a concept of architecture, not existing buildings. I don't want my suggestion to be denied because of it, so I need to find traditional drawings ABOUT existing architecture (exteriors and indoors) that can be considered fitting to this new category that I am suggesting.
If you agree with this suggestion and have a worthy example of Architecture that you can allow me to use, or know someone who can, feel free to comment, note me, or go to my thumbshare thread here: forum.deviantart.com/showcase/… If I get proper examples and the artist permission, will update this piece with them and give the artists proper credit!!!
Even if you don't have this kind of subject in your gallery please read the suggestion, it is an important and needed change for a part of this community!!
Please respect the Traditional Artists that work on this theme and give them this choice.

I am only on a smart phone and there is no option visible to vote at all. I have run into this very problem in reverse. I've tried doing a search for interior architecture art and photographs and mostly what comes up is naked women, especially if you do a bedroom interior search. Now I do adore seeing beautiful naked women alot, but I wish their search for interior architecture was more specific.
