Description
Posting two month late, but since I've somewhat participated in this year's 2017 Inktober and it was an enriching experience for me, I thought I'd share the result.
I decided to stick with the official list, which to be quite honest, started promising but went on to be a bit uninspiring later on, so self reminder for next year to have a look at other options, or rethink the themes in advance.
For the prompt of Day 8 - Crooked, I didn't really had a lot of inspiration for the themes anymore and due to real life factors like wedding preparations, I decided this would be my last image, and decided to give it a more halloweeny theme. So I've drawn a Crooked Witch, with a crooked dress, and a crooked hat and shoes, flying on her crooked broom with her crooked tail mouse pet. I don't often make a fun twist at my drawings, as I feel like I lack that "comic" ability, but think this one came out acceptable.
What lesson I've learned: For this one I tested myself to see if I could make a very loose and sketchy lineart and correct it later on by adding weight to the lines. It worked and I'm happy with it, especially since I've done it in a train, which isn't something that stands still all the time.
What I like about it: The color combination. I couldn't work out what to chose to go with dark gray/black and so I rolled with both orange and violet. Interesting color scheme, which I need to try on more times.
What I hate about it: Need a better alternative to white gel pens. They just don't work. Almost no control in them.
Medium: Copic black multiliners, Copics, graphite pencils and a blue pencil for lineart.

It took me a bit to realize her handbag was not in fact a face mask. LOL
Nice work! I've always loved witches, and I love her purple and orange socks! !!!
